As most girls can attest, growing up with an older brother has its ups and downs. One minute he’s picking on you and calling you names and the next he’s protecting his defenseless little sister against a potential boyfriend he doesn’t approve of. He’s both the biggest pain in your rear end and the person you trust most. Whichever version of “brother” seems apparent at the time, you know deep down he really does love and care for you.
For Anna and her older brother Ryan this definition of sibling love rings true for the most part in their relationship. While they did experience the typical brother-sister dynamics of growing up together, Anna had to deal with a lot more than just name-calling.
