Alentejo

In Alentejo’s golden land I roam,
Where saudades in my heart find home.
Evora’s ancient streets, a winding maze,
Hold memories of brighter, sunnier days.

The sun-kissed plains of Beja stretch afar,
Where endless horizons meet each star.
Saudades fill my soul with warmth and grace,
For Alentejo’s beauty, time can’t erase.

Santo Andre by the ocean’s gentle sway,
Where azure waters kiss the shores each day.
Saudades for this coastal, tranquil view,
In Alentejo, dreams and memories renew.

The olive groves, the vineyards in their rows,
A symphony of life where the river flows.
Alentejo’s charm, a treasure to adore,
I long for it, my Portuguese home once more.

With saudades in my heart, I reminisce,
Of Alentejo’s beauty, sweet and pure bliss.
The land where memories forever glow,
In my heart, Alentejo, I’ll always know.
