As I silently wrestle with my soul,
A secret burden heavy on my heart,
To speak the truth, my fears I must control,
And from this inner darkness, I must part.
Yet courage falters as I seek her eyes,
To bare my soul and share this heavy weight,
Will she stand by me, where my heart relies,
Or shall my fragile world meet cruel fate?
But love, the light that guides us through the night,
With gentle words, I’ll hope to find my way,
To share my truth, to let my soul take flight,
In her embrace, the shadows will give way.
With trembling voice, I’ll break the silent seal,
And trust that love will help my heart to heal.
